The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 16, 2021, has Billy Abbott and Lily Winters feeling played, Victor Newman and Adam Newman feeling smug, and Rey Rosales feeling suspicious – about all of them.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) popped by Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) offices to let them know that the story he fed them about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) stealing Camilla Rhodes’s inheritance – the one that just got published on their site without either Billy or Lily’s consent – yeah…about that…he made it up.

Yeah, all of it. The theft. The letter testifying to the theft. The threats from Ashland and the Newmans…none of it is true. So, yeah, Ashland is going to sue them into bankruptcy. Good luck with that, guys!

Lily freaks out, while Billy tries to be more practical. He points out that the story has to be true. Ashland wouldn’t have told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about it. And he wouldn’t have paid Jesse shush money for years. They might still win this one yet.

Y&R Recap: Don’t Count Your Chickens

However, as Billy is trying to see the bright side, Jesse films a video for Newman Media explaining that he made the whole thing up – but Billy and Lily are the ones at fault for believing him.

Victor (Eric Braeden) watches and tries to crack a smile. He is so great! His plans always work out! Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is not amused. Or appeased.

Young and the Restless: Final Detail

Adam shares a lovely non-date with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), while Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) – who is out to dinner with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) – wonders why Adam takes a break to share a quick chat with Jesse.

He doesn’t have to wonder long. Adam strolls over to let Rey know that Billy isn’t just a bad journalist, he’s a bad man. He blackmailed the poor, innocent, vulnerable, defenseless Newmans. Now go arrest him!
