The Young and the Restless Recap: Abby Teleports By Chance Landmarks

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 2, 2021, celebrates Election Day in the United States with Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor electing to take a mystical tour through her and Chance’s past, while Victor elects to decide what’s best for his daughter, and Mariah Copeland elects herself the only person capable of taking adequate care of an oblivious Dominic.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decided that Abby (Melissa Ordway) wasn’t mourning to his liking. So he dismissed Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) concern – what does she know about losing someone, no one has ever suffered the way Victor has suffered, so he is the only one who gets to decide what’s appropriate – and Victor summoned Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Fix her! Prescribe something!

Nate agreed, but Abby wasn’t interested in a sedative. Instead, she must have opted for a hallucinogen. Because the next thing we know, Abby was using her magic cell phone to travel through time to all the spots that were once meaningful to her and Chance. So, yes…that happened.

Y&R Recap: Mother Love

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) finally broke down and confessed to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) that she thinks that she can be a better mother to Dominic than Abby. Mariah agreed to become a surrogate because she thought she was creating a happy family. Now there’s no family, and certainly no happiness. Her little Bowie deserves better than a home filled with sadness.

At the same time, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is fretting over Mariah with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). But he’s also talking about how much he’s enjoying spending time with Dominic.

And how the baby is making up for the life Devon lost with the child Hilary was carrying when she died. So while everyone is focused on Mariah’s inappropriate attachment to Dominic, is anyone taking note of what’s going on with Devon, too?
