The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, June 21, 2021, finally answers Abby’s questions about Chance, while Billy has questions for Victoria about Ashland, and Summer questions her next move.
Abby (Melissa Ordway), Nina (Tricia Cast), and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) are testing out perfume samples when Christine (Lauralee Bell) stops by to tell them that Chance is still alive.
Or was, the last time she checked. Okay. Uhm… thanks, the women say, not really more relieved now than they were before. So Abby goes online. As she’s looking for news on Chance, someone is watching her.
Billy (Jason Thompson) wants to know about Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland (Richard Burgi). She points out that he hardly filled her in when he and Lily (Christel Khalil) moved in together.
Billy thinks Victoria can’t handle a man like Ashland. Victoria tells him she has a plan. Give her some credit. Especially when Ashland appears to be falling for her schemes, hook, line, and sinker.
Summer (Hunter King) can’t decide whether to take the job in Italy – even when Sally (Courtney Hope) sarcastically tells her she is obviously the best choice that has ever walked the earth. The problem is leaving Kyle (Michael Mealor) behind. It’s what Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) wants.
She told Summer to leave Kyle for good so that Tara and Kyle can reunite and give little Harrison a family. If she refuses to step aside, Tara will make sure that Kyle never sees Harrison again. Summer begs Tara to accept that Kyle can love both Harrison and Summer.
Nah, Tara says, she’d rather have him love her and kick Summer out of the picture completely. And if Summer goes running to Jack (Peter Bergman) and Co with Tara’s threat, Tara will look sad and sob that she was only doing what’s best for her beloved son.
So whose side do you think they’ll be on? A crying Summer calls her mommy. Her mommy is Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Good call, sweetie. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
