A home movie on The Young and the Restless motivated Jack to decide he wants to find the love of his life.
Those of us who watched Smilin’ Jack since the early 1980s, the man who, at one point, was juggling a wife, a mistress, and random Jabot models, are a little confused as to why he needed to watch a film of himself as a baby to remember that, but, hey, whatever – if he’s happy, we’re happy. So, which woman will make Jack (Peter Bergman) happy? We have the votes of over 7000 fans:
No one currently on the canvas is good enough for our Jack, 79% of the audience declares. So get him someone new! What if any one of the four Brooks girls comes to town to meet their new nephew, Theo (Tyler Johnson)? Jack has unresolved issues with Lori. But nothing with Leslie, Chris, or Peggy. Hey, why not try out all four?
The above was so popular, only 10% of you voted for a reunion with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). She dumped him because of the whole Marco thing – thanks, Victor (Eric Braeden). But she was, uh, a different Phyllis then. This is the Phyllis who used to be madly in love with Jack. Let’s give that another try, shall we?
Then there’s the 8% who want an old love to come back. Luan and Diane, the mothers of Jack’s sons, are both dead. Patti is nuts. But, hey, remember that chat he had with Jill (Jess Walton) before we went into reruns? Jack and Jill might have another hill to climb…
Not quite in last place is the 2% who want Jack to steal Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) back from Victor. What’s the point? Those two are written in the stars.
Only 1% want to see Jack with Sharon (Sharon Case). That’s not how you bring up plunging ratings. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
