Country music duo Tigirlily is heading to Genoa City. The singing sisters, Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh, are set to appear as themselves on Thursday, July 22. Could they be involved with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) new music label?
Michael Mealor officially confirmed that his time on the soap as Kyle Abbott “is coming to a close” via a post on Instagram. The reveal comes following reports that both Mealor and co-star Hunter King, who plays Summer Newman, would be leaving the show after being unable to negotiate new contracts. Mealor has been with the soap since 2018. Please note that air dates may be subject to change.
YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
