The week of January 3, 2021
There are two new babies on board at The Young and the Restless. Twins River and Rainn Ware are playing Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) son, Dominic. The soap held off on casting the part for months, using a bundle of blankets to fill in as the infant, due, in all probability, to COVID precautions.
Beth Maitland pops in for another appearance as Traci Abbott on Friday, January 7. She’ll share scenes with her TV brother, Jason Thompson, as her character tries to steer Billy Abbott in the right direction.

The Young and the Restless History
The Young and the Restless made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
