Loren Lott’s run as Ana Hamilton on The Young and the Restless was far too brief, but the actress/singer stays in touch with her YR fans by sharing posts on Instagram. The performer recently revealed a video of a commercial she did with singer Josh Groban.
“I can’t believe I never posted this lol,” Lott wrote on her post, which can be seen below. The musical commercial is an advertisement for Bush Beans, by the way. “How fun is this commercial! Lol if you see it tag me. The whole music video is on YouTube. It’s hilarious. We had way too much filming this 😂 saaanngg @joshgroban !!! @bushsbeans.”
The adorable star certainly has plenty of experience singing and dancing, since she starred in the Broadway show, Once On This Island. Back in 2015, Lott also appeared as a contestant on American Idol in Season 14 of the reality singing competition series. She made it to the top 16. She has, in real life, a twin brother, Evan Lott, an engineer.
Groban, known for performing the hit song You Raise Me Up, is a singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. His solo albums have gone multi-platinum. In 2007, he topped the charts as the top-selling artist in the United States; he’s sold over 25 million records worldwide.
Lott played Ana, Devon’s (Bryton James), sister from 2018-19 on YR. Since exiting Genoa City, she’s stayed busy playing a series regular role on the program Cherish the Day. Next up, she’ll appear in Renegades: Ominara, playing the title character in her younger days.
During her tenure on YR, Lott sang including a heart-rendering performance of Amazing Grace at Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) funeral. Neil left Ana his collection of vinyl records. She left town to pursue her music. With Moses back in town, the family is getting bigger. Seems a good time for Ana to return, but will that happen? Stay tuned.
