The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, March 26 closes out the week with Rey feeling vindicated, Faith feeling stupid, Amanda feeling used, and Abby feeling celebratory.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
After getting Michael (Christian Le Blanc) to issue him a search warrant, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) dropped in on Adam (Mark Grossman)… where he not only found the poison used to sicken him, but the items that had recently gone missing from Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house.
Rey ran straight back to Sharon to tell her how her precious Adam is a thief and an attempted murderer. (Both things she already knew from many, many past incidents.) Rey wants Sharon to guess where Adam might be hiding.
Adam takes off, and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) takes advantage of the alone time to pace and monologue about her evil plan.
Mother Dearest
Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) biological mother, Naya, is willing to acknowledge her illegitimate daughter’s existence – as long as Amanda is willing to defend Naya’s dad against charges that he caused the car accident which caused Amanda’s biological father’s death – over 30 years ago.
Amanda sees this as the obvious jury manipulation and publicity stunt that it is. But Naya insists it’s a way to reunite their fractured family. Restraining order? What restraining order? Amanda says she’ll think about it.
Ghost Friend
Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) learns that the boy she’s been texting, who got her to say that she loved him, was actually Jordan, who called Faith a loser for falling for Jordan’s catfishing. Faith sobs to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and then steals some tequila.
Baby Steps
Devon (Bryton James) kvetches to Abby (Melissa Ordway) about his screwed-up love life, then they decide to celebrate Mariah (Camryn Grimes) possibly already being pregnant with their baby. They’ll make a video diary for Chance. Yay! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
