The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, November 13, celebrate Y&R’s 13,000th episode with a wedding celebration for Abby and Devon — and a shocking twist that might derail it all.
Place Setting
Somehow, without his wife noticing, Victor (Eric Braeden) redid the entire Newman ranch just in time for Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon’s (Bryton James) nuptials. (Abby is the daughter who didn’t grow up there, but why quibble with details?)
Victor didn’t ask Abby if she’d like to get married there, he told her. He told Devon, too. So that’s where the festivities shall take place. Now make merry, everybody!
Guest Characters
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jill (Jess Walton) have returned to town for the big day, as have Devon’s biological mother and sister. Throw in the entire Abbott family, the entire Newman family, the entire Winter/Hamilton family, and some random Chancellors here and there, and this is as momentous as the gathering of the five crime families in “The Godfather.”
Who will needle whom? Who will provoke whom? And, most importantly, who will cause whom to lose control?

Guilty Party
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has already decided that she will be harassing Sharon (Sharon Case) until the latter breaks down and admits she killed Heather (Vail Bloom). Will she opt to do so at Abby and Devon’s wedding?
In theory, there is really no reason for either of them to be invited. At one point, both were Abby’s sisters-in-law, via Nick (Joshua Morrow). Each one is the mother of Abby’s nieces and nephews. But they’re not exactly family now. Still, it’s a big day for Y&R. We can’t imagine them not wanting two of their Emmy winners front and center.
Stealing the Scene
Abby and Devon may merely be planning to say, “I do.” But we can imagine Phyllis is plotting a hearty scream of, “Oh, no, you don’t!” Or, perhaps Phyllis crashes on her way.
