Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation: Sharon Turns To Chance In Her Grief

We know, we know, Y&R spoilers were filled with news that Sharon Rosales JUST lost her husband. But we also know this about Sharon…she doesn’t do well at being alone. There are her usual stand-bys, Nicholas Newman and Adam Newman.

But isn’t she bored yet? We’re bored! Sharon (Sharon Case) tried a new bloodline when she married Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Maybe this whetted her appetite for…another.

Sharon was still processing her grief when Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) stopped by to offer their condolences. Chance and Rey were police partners. Sure, the last time they tried to work together, Chance froze up and almost got Rey killed. But that was no reason not to pay his respects.

It’s also no reason for Chance not to offer Sharon a shoulder to cry on. They can bond over missing Rey. Chance can open up to Sharon about his current psychological problems. Sharon can put that counseling degree she got presumably out of a Cracker Jack box — since we never saw her in class or doing course work or practicum training — to good use.

And then…we know what commiserating and bonding lead to. Sex. It leads to sex. Everything on soaps leads to sex, but especially this. Especially when one of the people in question is having a hard time in his marriage.

His wife keeps wanting him to be a husband and father, and she doesn’t seem to appreciate the effort he’s making. Sharon would appreciate any effort Chance makes. And she’ll praise him for it. That kind of thing leads to sex, too. How long before Chance decides that a woman who approves of everything he does sure beats one who doesn’t even seem to notice?
