Chelsea Lawson is quickly reaching the end of her rope. Y&R spoilers tease she can’t handle the pain, depression, and counting her losses anymore. She needs help. Serious help. Thankfully, Billy Abbott sees she’s suffering, and he’s not turning his back.
Billy (Jason Thompson) knows what it’s like to spiral out of control. He knows how it is to feel alone, sad, and like the whole world is against him. At one time, he was riding the brink of sanity, even. So, if anyone will understand, it’s him. And, he’s the best possible person to help Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) get her life back.
But, what does that mean for the two of them? We predict that while Billy helps Chelsea on the road to mental wellness and self-discovery, they get a little too close. One night, things go too far, and there will be no turning back.
We can just see it now. Billy saves Chelsea from herself, takes her home, and stays close to help her nurse her pain. She spends days crying as he counsels her through, and before long, a friendly hug stirs up some strong feelings. They stare into each other’s eyes, and soon they are kissing…and so, so much more.
They share a night of unbridled passion that’s full of romance. It’s a beautiful evening. It’s everything anyone could ever want…until the next day. Billy wakes up in Chelsea’s bed and knows this is wrong. Very, very wrong. It’s one thing to be her friend, it’s another to do THIS. He has a very loving woman at home. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is a good woman, even.
So, in the end, Billy and Chelsea promise to keep this bedroom business to themselves. It goes into the secret vault, under lock and key, to never see the light of day. Well, at least that’s what they plan. Unfortunately, that plan is going to fall apart over the next few weeks.
We give it that long before Chelsea notices there is something off. Very off. She’s getting nauseous out of the blue, her body shows slight changes, and her…monthly friend…is missing in action. Uh-oh! This could only mean one thing — she’s pregnant with another of Billy’s babies!
Imagine the uproar this would cause, and not just for the not-so-proud parents-to-be. Lily will surely dump Billy, but that will be the least of his worries. He and Chelsea have sons who are about to welcome a sibling. We can’t see Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) or Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) taking that news very well!
