Y&R Spoilers Wild Spec: Is Nina the Monster Who Kidnapped Mariah?

Mariah Copeland’s disappearing act has everyone talking. Y&R spoilers show Abby Chancellor thinks her surrogate has run off, Tessa Porter is begging for an investigation, and Nina Webster, well, she’s acting a little off.

It seems strange enough to have Nina (Tricia Cast) living in the mansion with Abby. It’s even stranger to see how involved she is in the pregnancy. But, the strangest of all is how nonchalant she is about Mariah going missing. She is the calmest of all and even trying to convince everyone there is no need to investigate. But why? Well, soap fans, we think it’s because she’s the kidnapper.

Y&R: Is Nina Webster Going off The Rails

Remember Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) having coffee with Nina a few short months ago? Do you also remember her telling Nina, who was lamenting no peaceful place to work, all about that soundproof room in the Chancellor mansion? Uh, oh!

Did Nina put that juicy little tidbit in her back pocket for a rainy day and that day came while Mariah was out for a jog while carrying precious cargo? Can’t have the surrogate mama tripping again. Best to lock her up where she can’t hurt herself.

This could also be her past PTSD coming back to haunt her. Poor Nina went through hell when she gave birth to Ronan Malloy. Her baby was ripped away from her by the evil Rose DeVille (the late Darlene Conley). Does she believe Mariah will take off with the Chancellor baby? Y&R spoilers tease maybe it’s a risk Nina isn’t willing to take.

We can just see it now, Nina goes full-on Misery level Annie Wilkes and does everything in her power to keep Mariah from escaping. Nina may not seem like the type to have a violent streak but better to hurt Mariah than have her run off with her grandson, right?

Young and the Restless: How Low Will Nina Go?

The big question is, when will Nina reveal herself and how long can she keep up this charade? Mariah doesn’t exactly have any escape options. Will someone start hunting around the Chancellor mansion and happen upon the hidden room?

Let’s just hope Mariah gets out before the little one is born. Once that baby is out, Nina will have no reason to keep Mariah alive. Can’t have her spilling the beans and risking a life behind bars.
