Weekly Update The Young and the Restless
Y&R spoilers weekly update for June 13 – 17, 2022, tease the week ahead is full of game-changing news, a celebration of two very important ladies, and the return of another player. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) admitted to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) that she wanted him to stay in Genoa City. In fact, she was willing to give him a second chance, but on her terms. Ashland was elated! Perhaps the biggest shocker for Victoria’s family was that in taking Ashland back, she also declared herself entirely through with letting her family run her life. She was leaving Genoa City.
The news of Victoria’s departure left Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in a joyful mood. He proclaimed to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that he was one step closer to running the company. The pair couldn’t wait to get to the top of the ladder and take over the world.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) went to breakfast with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Noticeably missing from the breakfast of champions was Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Diane played nice with Summer and seemed to make some headway towards becoming amicable with her.
Watch out for a special episode coming up on Thursday this week. The Young and the Restless is honoring and celebrating the 40th anniversaries of Beth Maitland and Eileen Davidson in a memorable way. Tune in as Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) reminisce about their lives, loves, and losses.
They say it’s best to strike while the iron is hot, and boy oh boy is it on fire! Adam and Sally waste no time jumping on an opportunity when it arises in Genoa City. This revelation comes on the heels of a chat Adam has with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), where Victor shares some unexpected news!
Victor’s work to undermine Victoria’s relationship with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) continues. When Victor warned Ashland he wouldn’t be getting away with everything all that easily, he meant it. Don’t get too comfortable kids, Victor is on the prowl.
