Ashland Locke is currently persona non-grata on The Young and the Restless. Even more than Diane Jenkins who committed numerous crimes and actually faked her own death. All Ashland Locke did in comparison was fake his terminal illness. Here are five Genoa City residents who don’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to morally judging his actions.

Young and the Restless: The Big Cheese

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has faked his death numerous times. The most recent was a few years ago, when poor granddaughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) was devastated that no one clued her in about Victor’s plot to trick Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and that she grieved her grandpa for real. You know, the exact same crime that Victor is now accusing Ashland (Robert Newman) of committing against Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Y&R: The Lovely Mrs. Dairy Product

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) didn’t want Victor to leave her for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). So she told him she was dying from a terminal illness, and Victor wouldn’t leave his ailing wife in her hour of need, would he? Victor told Ashland that what he did was despicable. No one could ever, ever, ever forgive a villain who would do something like that!

Young and the Restless: Double Your Sins

Adam (Mark Grossman) faked going blind to stay out of jail. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) faked a terminal illness to keep a guy on The Bold and the Beautiful. So what we’re saying is, both of you — zip it…ZIP it…Dr. Evil-style.

Y&R: Turnabout is Fair Play

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may have never faked his death. But you know what he did do to Ashland? Sleep with the guy’s wife, lie to his face about it, father Ashland’s child…and then insist on telling Harrison the truth. Did he honestly think dropping something that heavy on a 4-year-old was a good idea? Yes! So Kyle doesn’t get a vote in the parenting department.
