Y&R spoilers weekly update for January 9 – 13, 2023, tease the week ahead is full of Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
This week, Genoa City residents began their new year. For some, it wasn’t so wonderful. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wondered what she’d do about her pregnancy while trying to keep it a secret from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Elsewhere, Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) slept together again, and later she took off her ring while he tried to keep Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) from moving forward with the Chancellor-Winters Initial Public Offering.
Speaking of Lily, she and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were shell-shocked after their first therapy session, and she ultimately told him she wasn’t willing to keep trying. Elsewhere, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) absolutely tried to fool Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) into believing she was his partner in crime again, much to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) dismay. Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) gave Kyle further reason for dismay when she suggested she take Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to Paris on a business trip.
Finally, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) reunited with her old flame, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) just before he left town. She even gave him a ride to the airport.
Next week, expect to see Jill get a disturbing message. Could it be from Devon after he dug up dirt on Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) connection? Later, Lily and Devon will disagree on how to handle a crisis, and before the week ends, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) makes Lily a promise. Is it personal or business?
Finally, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) enters enemy territory. He’s had it with Adam working at Jabot, and he schedules a meeting with Kyle because he knows the younger man feels the same way.
