Y&R spoilers weekly update for September 5 – 9, 2022, tease the week ahead is full of a leadership challenge and a shocking announcement. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
Things got crazy in Genoa City this week. Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) got to work on her article about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) even though Diane noticed her in town. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) worried briefly that they were all busted, but then Talia released her first in a series about Diane, and they were thrilled with the results. Understandably, Diane was devastated to see her misdeeds make headlines again.
Elsewhere, little Dominic Six Names turned 1-year-old. They had a small celebration in the park, but Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) wasn’t thrilled with Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) participation. He apologized. The Genoa City Police Department detective also hit a big milestone — wrapping up all of Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) cases. Both Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) were touched by the news.
Coming up next week, expect to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) challenge Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) leadership at Jabot. It seems Jack hiring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as co-CEO is a step too far for Billy, so sparks will fly between the brothers Abbott. No doubt Billy’s latest move will leave Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) concerned about him both professionally and personally.
After Nikki and Phyllis’s plan backfires spectacularly, you will see her give a shocking announcement. Will it be about Diane, or does she have some other big surprise up her sleeve? Check out the daily breakdown below for all of next week’s spoilers.
