Y&R spoilers showed that Phyllis Summers secretly returned, but didn’t even let daughter Summer Newman Abbott know that she was back. Instead, Phyllis put on a large hat — not unlike the large hat that Summer herself donned when she snuck back into town after dumping Kyle Abbott — and merely lurked about.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
She’s a tactical mastermind, that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is! And now she has a plan to get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) once and for all. Here’s where she may go with that.
Y&R: False Sense of Security
First, Phyllis will start by offering Diane a truce. After all, they’re family now! Phyllis’s daughter is married to Diane’s son, and since Summer (Allison Lanier) has claimed Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) as her own, they even share a grandchild. Let’s hug it out, former nemesis o’mine!
Y&R Spoilers: In For the Kill
Since Diane is such a naive, innocent, and trusting sort, she will obviously take Phyllis at her word without so much as a second of suspicion. And that’s when Phyllis will put her diabolical plan into action.
Young and the Restless: Spa Day
Phyllis will invite her new best friend to an afternoon of pampering at Phyllis’s hotel spa. There will be mani-pedis, there will be facial, there will be mimosas…and there will be some subtle, barely noticeable questioning by Phyllis.
Phyllis can do low-key like no one else! She’s prod Diane about her life in California, how she managed to play dead for so long, and what she was doing with herself over the past decade or so.
Easy Pickings
Diane, still being a naive, innocent, and trusting sort will just blab everything, and Phyllis will suss out the truth and run with it, straight to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
As the big hat demonstrated, Phyllis is the queen of schemes. There’s no way that Diane will ever see her coming. And come up with a scheme of her own.
