Ashland Locke seems to be on a roll. He’s accepted treatment for his cancer, sold off the property that bound him to Tara, got engaged to Victoria Newman, received Victor Newman’s blessing, and may be the only parent his son has left. But Y&R spoilers aren’t as quick to believe all is well.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
He came to town supposedly a frightening force in the business world and suddenly he seems to have won over everyone, even the picky Newman clan. Can this man be trusted? Almost 3,000 have speculated his intentions and they’re not buying it!
Young and the Restless: No Changes
A leopard never changes his spots, and a villain like The Locke Ness monster will never become the good guy. Ashland (Richard Burgi) is a bad-ass businessman who has crushed competitors like Victor beneath the heel of his shoe like bugs.
Y&R spoilers showed how Victor (Eric Braeden) got the best of Ashland while the man was having a heart attack. A guy like Ashland is never going to forgive such a slight. Which is why 75% of you are convinced this relationship with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is all a scam. A scam aimed at Victor.
Y&R Spoilers: Love Will See Through
The man is in love, 23% of the audience counters! They speculate that after the way Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) lied to Ashland about Harrison’s (Kellen Enriquez) parentage, he was at his lowest point ever. And Victoria was there to pick up the pieces.
She told him about her own experience being Johnny’s adoptive mother. She helped him get his business in order, and she persuaded him to fight his illness. Ashland is a new man, thanks to her! He’s legit!
Young and the Restless: Nothing Like It
While the majority either don’t believe Ashland has changed or credit Victoria with his turnaround, a tiny 2% predict Ashland would have gone good, in any case. He was so hurt by Tara, he wouldn’t want to be like her. Maybe she was always the bad one in the relationship. Maybe Ashland has always been a pussycat, and it was just his wife who gave him that terrible reputation.
