On The Young and the Restless, now that Victor Newman has determined he’s right about Ashland Locke lying to the entire family – a few months after he determined he was right about Ashland telling the truth – Y&R spoilers are speculating that he’ll demonstrate – once and for all – how no one – and we mean no one – gets the best of Victor. Here’s how he’ll do it.
Y&R Spoilers: Fake It Till You Make It
Just like Victor (Eric Braeden) couldn’t get Ashland’s (Robert Newman) media company via sound business strategy – he could only do it by flat-out attempted murder – 59% assume he won’t bring him down using legal channels. Instead, you assume he’ll trump up some fake charges to send Ashland to prison. Because when someone commits a crime against you, the only way to strike back is by demonstrating the error of their ways via equally criminal means.
Young and the Restless: Back To Before
It’s been decades since Victor locked up a man who pissed him off in a cage in his basement, and 35% of the audience is betting he misses those days. In the early 1980s, it was Michael Scott (not the one from The Office), his wife, Julia’s, lover, whom Victor treated like an animal. His son-in-law deserves the same treatment. They are family, you know.
Y&R Spoilers: To Die For
Oh, just kill him, 6% suggest. It’s not worth Victor’s beautiful mind to spend a moment of thought on a gnat-like Ashland. Victor should be focusing on beating Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson), or reminding Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that she’s a dressmaker who isn’t nearly good enough to worm her way into a family which contains killers, kidnappers, blackmailers, con artists… and a stripper. She’s nowhere near close to being classy enough. And neither is Ashland.
