Y&R Spoilers: Sometimes Love Just Isn’t Enough

Sure, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) love each other. We know it. They know it. Their children know it. Even Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) know it – no matter how much they dislike it. The problem is, love doesn’t stop them from fighting. And lying. And cheating. So clearly that alone was never going to get the job done.

Y&R: Won’t Somebody Think of the Children?

Sharon and Nick love their children, too. The ones they had together: the late Cassie, Noah (Rory Gibson), and Faith (Reylynn Caster). And the ones they have with other people: Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Summer (Allison Lanier), and Christian. The problem is, loving their children doesn’t stop them from fighting. And lying. And cheating. So clearly that alone was never going to get the job done.

Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Equal Rights

The main problem with Sharon and Nick is that they were never equals. At the very start, he was the rich, spoiled, Newman heir, and she was the working-class high school girl with a huge secret. Later, he was Victor and Nikki’s pride and joy – while she was the trash he forced them to deal with.

Sharon always felt inferior to Nick. But that won’t be the case here. The company will be hers. Nick will be the hired hand. He’ll be working for her. She’ll be calling the shots. Even Victor and Nikki will have to admit that. And this could be the thing that finally does get the job done. Literally.
