Y&R spoilers hint that Billy Abbott has something going on with his insomnia and restlessness. Plus, Sally Spectra will take on a whole new challenge after Victoria Newman shut down the Newman Media fashion platform. These two seem happy in their relationships (or almost relationship in Sally’s case), but we predict sparks fly between these two, and they might be more than just anger — after all, there’s a fine line between love and hate.
Adam Newman tapped Sally as the Chief Operating Officer for Newman Media, and Lily Winters snagged Billy as the COO of Chancellor Enterprises. However, when Sally told Billy that news, his jaw nearly hit the floor. He wasn’t too thrilled to learn that Sally had the same job title he had, and it’s possible that realizing it further diminished his role in his mind.
Something is going on with Billy, and he’s not being entirely forthright about it. He’s mad at Sally for her previously spying on him when he tried to enact his (not so) devious plan against Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). However, it seems there’s a part of Billy that at least has some type of feelings about Sally. Otherwise, it wouldn’t matter that much that she spied on him. He’d ignore her.
Because both Billy and Sally have tendencies toward self-destruction, we speculate that these two might end up finding themselves down and out and drinking at the same bar sometime soon. Perhaps Billy will struggle with something at work or continue with his insomnia, so he’s not thinking clearly — and maybe Adam will lash out at Sally after Victoria gets under his skin.
When they end up at the same place at the same time, these two could cross over the line in a fiery, passionate one-night stand that they’ll try to hide. After all, they both enjoy the people they’re with right now. Still, there’s something there between these two because their feelings are intense, even if they present as quite negative right now. What do you think? Could you see this happening? Let us know in the comments below.
