Although Y&R spoilers haven’t teased Chelsea Lawson’s return to Genoa City just yet, her name’s come up enough in dialogue that it’s clear she’ll return shortly.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: A Major Blowup
With so much happening in town since she left, we can’t help but wonder if Chloe Fisher’s prediction that Newman Fashion will blow up (in a good way) with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) designing together might come true. But, of course, in our minds, the blow-up between the two designers won’t be in a good way.
Powerful Partners
It’s no secret that Chelsea is a talented fashion designer. So we felt surprised that Chloe chose to work with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), the man who killed her daughter, Delia, for Chelsea’s sake. Similarly, we think it’s cute that Chloe believes Chelsea will return to partner with one Sally Spectra to create a powerful design house for Newman Media.
Has Chloe paid any attention lately? It seems highly unlikely that Chelsea and Sally will work well together. We even question if Chelsea will find herself able to work with Adam. Sure, they have to co-parent Connor, but working together every day seems like a pretty big stretch.
Then there’s the whole flirtation between Adam and Sally. Sure, Chelsea is finished with Adam to the point that she framed him for murder. However, that doesn’t mean Chelsea will sit there and watch the redheaded fashion designer flirt and maybe even fall in love with her ex.

Y&R Spoilers: The More Things Change…
Both Sally and Chelsea have a few things in common. For instance, they’ve both gotten on Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey Bregman) bad side. Chelsea ripped off Fenmore’s in dramatic fashion, leaving Lauren furious. As for Sally, we’re all well aware of the Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wedding dress drama.
Both Sally and Chelsea will stop at nothing to get what they want. However, if the thing they want happens to be mutually beneficial, perhaps they could come together in pursuit of that.
Is it possible these two could end up bonding over their mutual issues with Lauren or their utter ruthlessness to rise to the top? Perhaps, but we’d bank on the fireworks coming due to friction instead of a lovely friendship. We predict that Chloe is in for a wild ride when things explode between Sally and Chelsea.
