Y&R Spoilers Speculation: It’s a Who Killed Phyllis Murder Mystery

We know what these Y&R spoilers mean. Everyone is mad at Phyllis, and Phyllis is threatening pretty much everyone. In classic soap opera fashion, it seems to be laying the groundwork for a Who Killed Phyllis Summers Mystery. Let’s round up the usual suspects.

Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Right as Rain

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has been shrieking that Diane (Susan Walters) is up to no good since Jack’s (Peter Bergman) new wife first arrived back in town. Think of how happy Phyllis will be if she’s proven right and Diane is the one who kills her. Phyllis won’t even mind being dead.

Y&R Threat Level

Phyllis has decided to blackmail Tucker (Trevor St. John). Tucker does not appreciate being blackmailed. Tucker is a man who takes care of his problems efficiently. Killing Phyllis would be efficient. And it would shut her up. What’s not to like?

Y&R Spoilers: Son Fire

Daniel is angry at Phyllis. Really, really angry. He hates that Phyllis won’t put his sister before herself. We can see Daniel killing Phyllis to protect Summer (Allison Lanier). Daniel has a lifetime of things to be angry with Phyllis about. Even killing her won’t avenge some of them. But it will be a good start.

Young & Restless: Boomerang

Phyllis has Summer so gaslit the ditzy blonde doesn’t know if she’s coming or going. How poetically appropriate would it be if Phyllis drove Summer so over the bend that Summer killed her mother? Then, like Phyllis, she insisted that she did it because she loved her mom so much, this was the only way to protect her.

Y&R Spoilers: All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Would Jack kill Phyllis to protect Diane? Would Nick (Joshua Morrow) kill Phyllis to protect Summer? Would Sharon (Sharon Case) kill Phyllis to get her to stop talking about Sharon, Nick, and Adam (Mark Grossman)? There are just so many possibilities here.

Young and Restless: Top Banana

And then there’s Victor (Eric Braeden). He is also angry about what Phyllis did to Summer. But he is also the only one manly enough to do what needs to be done — according to Victor, that is. We can see him killing Phyllis just to beat everyone else to the punch. And prove he is still the biggest shot in Genoa City.
