Victoria Newman doesn't want Adam involved at Newman.
Y&R spoilers aren’t keeping a secret of how much Adam wants to play a major role at Newman Enterprises…and how desperate Victoria is to keep him out of it. It’s not enough that she’s Victor’s obvious favorite child and his heir apparent. Victoria wants to be his Employee of the Century too. Here’s how she plans to shut her little brother out for good.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has nothing to worry about, 3% dismiss. Victor (Eric Braeden) named her CEO. No matter who else he might place in that position, the minute his precious princess wants her job back, Victor is there to give it to her. Adam (Mark Grossman) doesn’t have a chance.
The only way Victoria could lose is if Victor throws his lot in with Adam, according to 9% of voters. Victor really wants to bring his son back into the fold, and Adam is playing hardball. It’s possible that Victor could decide that, since he will always have Victoria’s adoration, the smart move is to give Adam what he wants and buy his more tentative affection.
Victor might demote Victoria and give her a stern talking to about how it’s for the good of the family, and Victor can always count on Victoria doing whatever is necessary for the good of the family…right, my sweetheart? Yes, Daddy.
It doesn’t matter what Victoria wants. It doesn’t even matter what Adam wants. The only thing that matters is what Victor wants, 88% of you decree. And Victor seems to want Adam to run McCall and report to him, while Victoria runs the rest of Newman. Which means it’s going to happen. We don’t even understand why Victoria thinks she has a say in the matter. Did she grow up with a different Victor than the one we watched?
