Who would come out on top in this Y&R war?
Y&R spoilers reveal there is quite a clash of the titans brewing in Genoa City as a completely off-the-rails Phyllis has decided to destroy Diane’s newfound happiness with Jack. Diane may be low-key now, but she has also gone off the rails in the past. Who knows what might make her do it again?
Given the history between these two, there will no doubt be a big battle coming soon. When comes down to an all-out diva showdown, whom do you expect to come out on top — Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) or Diane?
Diane (Susan Walters) has bested Phyllis every step of the way since first returning to Genoa City. Which is why 8% of the audience expects her to keep doing it. Phyllis has clearly met her match. And the mere reality of it is what’s making her even weaker.
This isn’t a game, 20% admonish. There’s no prize. And there’s no finish line. It’s just life. Some days Diane is on top, and some days it’s Phyllis. What we’re really hoping for is the women will forget about each other. Because seeing two grandmothers act like catty high school girls is, frankly, embarrassing for all women everywhere.
Phyllis will win, 32% predict. Why? Because she always does in the end. Also, because she has a plan now. Diane won’t know what hit her. And Phyllis will be able to say I Told You So. Team Phyllis!
Nobody can win this game. Because they’ve both already lost, according to a majority 40% of fans. They’ve lost because they are making fools of themselves. They’ve lost because their children are furious with them. They’ve lost because no one can take either of them seriously, and they’ve lost because they’ve both now shown their worst selves to Jack (Peter Bergman). And that will come to haunt them both.
