Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Devon Is Done With Tucker

Y&R spoilers are unclear about where Tucker’s relationship with Devon is going. Tucker insists he’s being straight with his son and that Devon and Dominic are his biggest priority. Oh, and he’s totally not doing anything wrong, especially to Devon’s baby mama and her mother.

Devon (Bryton James) had his cynical face on. But he does seem open to letting Tucker (Trevor St. John) convince him. Here’s why that’s never going to work.

Young and the Restless: Six of One

Tucker is lying to Devon yet again. And that truth will come out sooner or later. We’re sure he’ll have a story. It will involve how everyone is against him, blah, blah, blah…how he only did what he felt he had to, blah, blah, blah…how he needs his son to believe in him, blah, blah, blah. And, to be fair, Devon has done some terrible things himself.

There was that time he slept with the wife of his father, the one who raised him. Oh, and Neil (Kristoff St. John) was blind at the time. Neil forgave Devon. Because they were family. Devon also forgave his beloved Hilary (Mishael Morgan) a heck of a lot. So he may be able to forgive Tucker. But he’ll never agree to trust him again.

Y&R Spoilers: Half Dozen of the Other

And that’s still a big If. Devon has given Tucker plenty of chances. And Tucker squandered them all. This time, there may be no trusting, no forgetting, and no forgiving, either. Because, let’s be honest: Not only does Tucker not deserve it, but Devon doesn’t need him. Once upon a time, he was a sad kid in foster care with no one to take care of him.

However, Devon got a mom and dad in Dru (Victoria Rowell) and Neil. He has a sister in Lily (Christel Khalil). He still has a relationship with his biological mother, Yolanda (Chene Lawson), and he got Kay (Jeanne Cooper) as a grandmother. Most importantly, Devon has his own family now: Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Dominic. He doesn’t need Tucker. So why bother with the drama?
