Y&R spoilers tease that Chance Comm faces severe fallout after Victor Newman, Adam Newman, and Ashland Locke’s scheme to turn the tables with the Jesse Gaines story.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Billy and Lily Hire Kevin
It appears as if Adam (Mark Grossman) had somebody hack into the Chance Comm system and publish an article that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) assigned detailing the truth of Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) ill-gotten start to his fortune. He essentially stole it from a cat sanctuary, which certainly wouldn’t go over well on social media, causing blowback on Newman.
At this point, we bet Billy regrets deleting the video of Gaines (Jamison Jones) telling the sordid tale. He did it at Ashland’s request out of respect for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), the mother of his children. However, given the double-crossing that happened with the Newmans convincing Gaines to say he lied, Billy probably no longer cares much about how it affects Victoria as long as it doesn’t hurt their kids.
Kevin Fisher’s IT Skills to the Rescue
Given the need to retrieve the deleted video, we have the perfect man for the job — Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). He’s Genoa City’s favorite IT guy. We would love to see him team up with Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
A twist Y&R spoilers could add to the little drama is the fact that Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) works for Adam at Newman Media. We’d love to see what fireworks might explode as Billy enlists Kevin for his side and watch Chloe figure out how to balance her job and her husband. We could see Adam putting the pressure on her to get Kevin to stop, but she probably wouldn’t.
Kevin’s storylines are mostly non-existent, so we’d enjoy him having a bigger role for a bit. Perhaps if Billy and Lily can get their hands on the video, they can change the narrative and prove that Gaines is lying for the Newmans and Lockes. It seems like too easy a win for Victor, so we hope “Billy Boy” has something up his sleeve, and Kevin might be just the thing.
