Devon (Bryton James) surprised his dad by giving him 30 minutes over coffee to have his say. It looks like Tucker (Trevor St. John) plans to make the most of it, and he’d better, considering Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) demands of him. Tucker knows he’s supposed to make this right, and this cup of coffee with Devon may be his last chance to forge a relationship with his son. Will it work?

Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) are worried about Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) return to Genoa City. However, he had the great idea to go on a secret trip to the Abbott cabin, and Diane happily agreed. Now these two are all smiles again, despite the fact that Jeremy is out of jail and many people in town suspect they set the criminal up. Ultimately, they kiss and prepare to sneak out of town.

Finally, Jeremy is indeed in Genoa City, and he runs into Kyle (Michael Mealor) at Society. Not surprisingly, Kyle isn’t at all thrilled to see the man he believes is a threat to his family back in town. The two exchange words, but only one looks upset — Kyle. Does that mean Jeremy is succeeding in his plans for revenge or is he making a threat?
