Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) grabs two coffees from Crimson Lights, and he looks contemplative. Is he considering what he might want to do with his life? Perhaps. It seems that he took the coffee to see Jack (Peter Bergman), and these two end up in an intense conversation at the family business.

He and Jack also enjoy a meal at Society. He seems to be slightly annoyed at what Jack has to say — perhaps it’s about Adam (Mark Grossman) quitting Jabot? If Billy really wanted the job, then Jack would probably welcome Billy back into the family fold.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer (Allison Lanier) seems like she’s still angry at Kyle (Michael Mealor) for blatantly lying to her. He’s prepared, though. Kyle offers Summer a rose, but seriously a simple rose won’t be enough to completely smooth things over between husband and wife. Of course, he must also say the words she needs to hear because Summer takes the rose, and the next thing you know, they’re lip locked. Perhaps all is right for the younger Abbotts after Kyle once again begs Summer for her forgiveness.
