The Y&R spoilers for July 18 – July 22, 2022, tease a standoff, attempted subterfuge and so much more. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
Having convinced herself that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is no longer a threat to her or the Newman family at large, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is taken aback to find her ex leering at her from her home’s terrace. After making his way inside and himself comfortable, Ashland explains to Victoria that he’s no threat to her…but then he makes the chilling claim that thanks to her machinations, he’s a man with nothing to lose.
Opposite this, Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’s discovered that Ashland has yet to leave town, takes it upon himself to check on his big sister. When he arrives, the abode looks vacant — but the lights are on, and the door is open…uh oh.
In a desperate bid to ensure that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) retains the CEOship of Newman Media, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) works to nip their relationship in the bud…but Sally isn’t buying what her beau is selling.
She quickly deduces that Adam is merely pushing her away in the hopes of convincing Victoria that he’ll have no sway in Sally’s decision-making, and she says as much to him. Will Adam break and confirm Sally’s assessment?
In other Y&R spoilers news, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) forms an alliance, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) considers expanding her portfolio, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) get their collab on…and no, that is not a euphuism.
Meanwhile, with nothing better to do, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sets about dispensing words of wisdom on topics like love and family to an enraptured Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). Perhaps it’s this very action that leads him to soften ever so slightly towards Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) — but don’t expect these two to just kiss and make up. That ship has sailed. Friendship? Maybe that’s not completely off the table.
Finally, Y&R spoilers warn that ill-intentioned Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is soon to make major inroads with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). It will all end in tears soon enough, and Phyllis will get to do her told-you-so dance.
