The Y&R spoilers for January 9 – January 13, 2023, tease a plethora of familial and business discord — truly this show’s bread and butter. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
In the wake of Audra Charles’s (Zuleyka Silver) true allegiance to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) coming to light, and the reveal that Tucker had planned a takeover of Chancellor-Winters in order to then gift it to his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is more resolved than ever to stop the company from going public — but he faces an uphill battle.
Both Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) disagree with Devon’s position, which results in an overruling, which in turn results in Devon deciding to extricate his half of the company from the whole. As before, Devon is overruled. War is declared…but hope — in the form of a convoluted scheme cooked up by Lily and signed off on by Jill — springs eternal.
Misplaced anger and an innate sense of entitlement see Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) attempt to put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) “in his place” only to wind up summarily rebuked and reminded of just how ineffectual he truly is. Embarrassed and fuming, Kyle finds possible redemption in a partnership with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The stated goal: force Adam out of Jabot so that he’ll have no other choice but to return to the Newman fold.
In other Y&R news, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) makes a shocking discovery, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) gives Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) a harsh, much-needed reality check, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) gives Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) some much-needed moral support, and Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) sets a trap for Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Meanwhile, Tucker sees a new side to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)…but will it be one of which he approves? Doubtful, considering the blonde bombshell will soon have him on the metaphorical carpet.
Finally, Y&R spoilers have Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) setting her sights on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), no doubt desperate to settle a few old scores and prove herself useful to a new mark.
