Y&R spoilers for Friday, September 3, 2021, delve into Mariah Copland’s post-traumatic stress from her kidnapping, Bowie’s traumatic birth…and loss, while Victor Newman and Adam Newman unveil their plan to take over the world…and take down Ashland Locke.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Poor Mariah (Camryn Grimes). This surrogacy plan was a bad idea from the start. She’d never had a child before. She had no idea how she’d feel about being pregnant or giving birth or surrendering the child to Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).

And then the whole thing got so much worse. For weeks, she was trapped, alone, not knowing what was going to happen. Her mama bear instincts – and hormones – kicked in and her entire being was focused on keeping the unborn tot she’d named Bowie safe.

And she pulled it off, too! Instead of giving in to despair, Mariah held it together to not only keep Bowie healthy, but then to deliver him without a doctor or even any medical intervention. (Like pain drugs.)

Then, the moment her job was done, Abby swooped in to cuddle her newborn, leaving Mariah to look longingly. It would have been hard enough to recover if everything went normally. But now she’s emotionally fragile, mentally anxious…and utterly ignored by the woman who finally has what she wants. How long can Mariah be expected to put up with the situation?

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Listen Up

Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his son have launched a media company, they plan to use it to crush Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) similar endeavor. And then they plan to go after Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).

Because he’s planning to marry into the Newman family. And Victor definitely needs to make clear who the boss is. They have an announcement to make. And Genoa City has no choice but to listen…in awe.
