Y&R Spoilers for October 7: Will There Be a Wedding?

The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, October 7, 2021, are wondering whether the long-awaited wedding at the palazzo will actually happen? Ashland Locke wonders whether Victoria Newman will still be willing to say ‘I Do’ now that she knows her company may be on the line, and Victor and Nikki Newman wonder what they’ll tell their guests if the promised nuptials never happen.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Ashland (Richard Burgi) spilled the beans to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about crimes he’s committed in the past and the lawyer who is blackmailing him. But all Victoria hears is: Ashland’s company was built off the fruit of a poisoned tree, and now that they’ve merged Ashland Media with Newman Enterprises, she could be just as liable for his malfeasance.

It’s too late to unmerge their business and protect herself professionally, but there is still time for Victoria not to pledge her troth to the former youthful criminal and save herself personally. Ashland wants to know if they’re still getting married. Victoria just glares at him.

Young and the Restless: Crowd Control

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) helped Victoria plan her wedding and she is determined that everything goes off without a hitch. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) contribution was to pay off the guy blackmailing Ashland so that his little girl doesn’t need to worry her pretty little head about big manly matters.

But now both of their efforts might be for naught. As Ashland wonders, if Victoria is still willing to marry him, Victor and Nikki wonder what they’ll do with all the guests who flew out especially for the wedding – and what they’ll do with all the food and flowers they ordered.

Hmm, if only some other Newman family member were getting married in Italy at roughly the same time, but had planned a much more modest affair.
