The Y&R spoilers for Friday, November 12, 2021, end the week strong as Amanda Sinclair makes a comment Devon Hamilton doesn’t appreciate, Billy Abbott and Lily Winters get a shock, and Phyllis Summers and Nina Chancellor make peace with reality.
Devon (Bryton James) did a tour of Genoa City, sharing his unsolicited opinion that little Dominic shouldn’t be living with Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) while she mourns her presumed-dead husband. Lily (Christel Khalil) disagreed. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) disagreed.
But Devon expects that at least Amanda (Mishael Morgan) would take his side. After all, as the woman with whom he shares his life – and penthouse – Amanda should always agree with Devon. That’s what St. Hilary did. (She totally did not, but that’s how Devon remembers it.) The fact that Amanda worries about saying something that might make Devon furious…is not a good omen for their relationship.
Billy (Jason Thompson) promised Lily that he would hold off publishing what he knows about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past. He doesn’t want to upset Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle), and, besides, he has more leverage over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that way.
But the story runs, anyway. Billy wonders what happened. We wonder how it’s connected to the phone call Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) overheard Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) making.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) accepts that her relationship with Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) is finally over. (Until next time.) She does it in her usual overwrought, histrionics, no one has ever felt the kind of pain I am currently feeling way.
Meanwhile, Nina (Tricia Cast), who is facing the truth about losing her son for good, isn’t nearly as dramatic as she tries to talk Abby down from feeling like she can’t take care of her baby.
