The Y&R spoilers for Friday, May 6, 2022, end the week with Adam Newman once again planning to stomp out on the family who never accepted him, while the Abbott family puts their heads together, and Billy Abbott celebrates a win.
Was it only last year that Adam (Mark Grossman), angry at his father, legally changed his name from Newman back to Wilson, and signed away his claim to the family fortune — though he did make sure precious Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) got his fair share?
Well, that didn’t last long as, earlier this year, he was back to plotting side by side with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), starting a company with him, and even filling in for Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) as CEO when her life fell apart.
But then, Victor, once again, sided with Victoria over Adam, and now he’s all pouty and stompy again, threatening to walk away and do his own thing. Do it, Adam! Just do it!!
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) filled his family in on Diane Jenkins’s (Susan Walters) return from the dead, and now he’s just waiting to see how Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) wants to handle the reunion with his mother. Kyle may have some news for them, but the family needs to make sure they weigh in, first. After all, he can’t make such an important decision on his own.
No matter what happens to him, Billy (Jason Thompson) can’t stop feeling sorry for himself. He created a whole podcast to let the world know how hard it is to be rich and powerful and a straight, white male in the world today! We hope that, once he gets his piece of good news, he’ll take a moment to feel thankful, instead of reverting right back to, “But I don’t have everything I want!” mode.
