The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, May 18, 2022, promise love, love, and move love at Mariah Copeland and Tessa Porter’s wedding. But we’ll be honest, we’re here less for the love and more for the conflict. That’s what makes soap weddings worth attending!

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and the newly arrived Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) snarked a bit, then moved on. How about some more snark? Or a resolution? What we’re saying is, how about some reason for having Summer show up in the first place.

The same went for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). We agree, crashing Mariah and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding is a less than classy move. But that’s up to the brides to decide. It’s up to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to respond to. It is not up to Phyllis. No matter how much she’s somehow decided she’s the principal player in this drama.

Young and the Restless: Up To Bat

So Mariah and Tessa are happily married. Wouldn’t now be a good time to set up some future couples? Especially younger ones, now that summer is practically here (the season, not the recast).

Let’s see where Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Moses Winters’s (Jacob Aaron Gaines) relationship currently stands. We’re not asking for a full-out love scene, but is a kiss too much to ask for? Maybe a make-out session in a dark corner…which daddy Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) could stumble into?

Y&R Spoilers: Exes and Ohs

And what about Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)? Surely, watching his ex exchange vows with someone else ought to confirm that she just isn’t that into you. He can move on. Talking with Crystal is a nice start. But there’s also Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). If this is the beginning of a triangle, can something actually, you know, happen?
