The Y&R spoilers for Monday, May 16, 2022, bring a very special wedding week to Genoa City. However, as Tessa Porter and Mariah Copeland prepare to say their “I dos,” the former ends up facing something she certainly doesn’t expect at this late date.
The Y&R Spoilers Speculation
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) faces an unexpected crisis as she and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) prepare to walk down the aisle. These two finally made it to their wedding week despite some pretty big odds.
Their obstacles included (but aren’t limited to) Mariah cheating, Tessa originally dating Mariah’s brother, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), a hectic music schedule, Tessa stealing Mariah’s journal and writing a hit song, just to name a few bumps in the road. Even more, Mariah’s stepfather, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) recently died, leaving her mother Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and the rest of the family grieving.
In spite of ALL that, these two are mere moments away from their big day, which will be held at Top of the Tower with Noah somehow serving as their de facto wedding decorator because…reasons and art or something like that.

Young and the Restless: A Gift
The brides even got a gift from the grave in the form of Tessa’s sister, Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder) because Rey helped clear the way for her to return to regular life after being a witness in need of protection several years ago. The sisters even got the chance to catch up, but could there be some trouble for Tessa brewing because of her sister’s surprising return?
Y&R Spoilers: A Pre-wedding Crisis
Tessa faces something tumultuous as her and Mariah’s big day arrives. Perhaps it has something to do with Crystal. But maybe it’s something more mundane like losing the ring or needing a last-minute wedding dress adjustment. If it’s the latter, perhaps one Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) or Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) can step up to fix the situation. Whatever goes wrong for the successful singer will surely be solvable before it’s time to meet Mariah at the altar.
