The Y&R spoilers for Monday, June 27, 2022, tease a lot of changes coming as Phyllis Summers attempts yet another charm offensive with Jack Abbott, Nicholas Newman bids Genoa City farewell, and Tessa Porter gets a curveball about her and Mariah Copeland’s future.
Through clenched teeth and, we assume, with her fingers crossed behind her back, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) offered Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a truce. And then she texted Jack to come over and tell her what an awesome person she is for doing so.
Jack (Peter Bergman) does come over. But their meeting doesn’t exactly go Phyllis’s way. Jack is happy that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mother and mother-in-law won’t be hissing at each other in public places anymore.
But his relief doesn’t mean he’s about to fall back into Phyllis’s arms. She may have assumed that their only obstacle was Jack’s back-from-the-dead baby mama. But Jack knows their real problems go much, much deeper than that.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) called her brother to tell him she was in New York City with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) dutifully ran to their father with the information.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) got busy thwarting his daughter’s chances of professional success while Nick announces a trip out of town. Can we assume he’ll be needing a MetroCard soon? Oh, who are we kidding? The Newman scion will never take the subway. He’ll arrive at Victoria and Ashland’s in a limo!
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) just got back from their honeymoon. They should be glowing and wallowing. But when Tessa gets a chance to promote her latest album, will they take the show on the road, or will Mariah be left to glow on her own?
