The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, June 24, 2021, are a big day for Summer and Amanda. The Newman heiress finally stops stalling and makes a decision about her – and Kyle’s – future, while Amanda gets a new lead in her family mystery. Plus, Phyllis has trouble staying out of other people’s business.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has tried to be a good sport. She tried to respect her grandfather Sutton’s (Jack Landron) wishes that they keep their relationship a secret so as not to embarrass Naya (Ptosha Storey)… and the family as a whole.
But after being lied to – and threatened – one too many times, Amanda finally announced she’d be conducting her own investigation into who killed her father. Be careful what you wish for, Amanda. Because you are about to get some answers.
Summer (Hunter King) spent most of the time she should have been deciding what to do about her job offer in Milan and her upcoming marriage to Kyle (Michael Mealor) on feeling sorry for herself that big, bad Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) is keeping Summer from having everything she wants, when and how she wants it.
She could have been honest with her fiancé. She could have been honest with Jack (Peter Bergman). Heck, she even could have been honest with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Summer finally decides to start telling the truth. But did she pick the wrong person?
Phyllis doesn’t need Summer to tell her everything. She’s gotten enough hints to come up with her own theory. Summer swore Mom to secrecy. Phyllis triple-pinky swore. And then spilled everything she knew to Nick (Joshua Morrow).
But that really didn’t get her anywhere. So she’s decided to take it up a level. Will Phyllis go to Ashland (Richard Burgi) as a way to keep Tara under control?
