The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, June 22, 2022, suggest that the new business in town, Marchetti Fashion AKA The Company Daddy Jack Abbott Bought His Son and Daughter In Law to Keep Them Happy and In Town, is the talk of Genoa City. Kyle Abbott wonders if his mother might have a place in his new big boy venture, Phyllis Summers goes out of her way to make sure that never happens, and Chelsea Lawson and Chloe Mitchell Fisher disagree about whether their fashion platform fits in.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) told her son that she doesn’t want to impose on him, so she’d like to get a job and start making her own living. Might she impose on him to find her one? Kyle (Michael Mealor) made noises about how it would be inappropriate of him to find her a position at Jabot.
After all, he and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) have already used up the nepotism entitlement for the year. But, hey, what if she comes to work for the company Jack (Peter Bergman) bought him and Summer? That would be totes different!
Considering how upset Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was that Diane was breathing the same air as Phyllis, we can only imagine how she might react to her precious Supergirl being in the same building with that wretched woman! Summer is in great danger from Diane! And the fact that she is even considering hiring her mother-in-law is a stab in Phyllis’s heart!
Hey, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson) also have a fashion business. They exchanged a few words about it with Summer and Kyle in the middle of trashing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). But now that it’s ready to launch, they’re seeing a few pitfalls. And not even all of them is the return of Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman)!
