The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, June 2, 2022, pick up with Jack Abbott overhearing Phyllis Summers taunt Diane Jenkins with the poetic phrase that she “marked her territory.” Somehow, Jack didn’t find her expression the height of romance. Now Phyllis has to defend herself. While Diane plays the innocent. Plus, Elena has had enough of Imani’s act — and lets her know it.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
We were all a touch suspicious when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), after literally years of keeping Jack (Peter Bergman) in the friend zone like a sadistic tease suddenly put the pedal to the metal the minute Diane (Susan Walters) returned to Genoa City.
And we weren’t the only ones who noticed. Diane noticed. Jack noticed. Even Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) noticed. And it takes a lot to penetrate his brain fog. Jack tried to deny it was happening.
Jack Abbott Gets Wise
But then he overheard Phyllis admitting as much. Now Jack can’t deny it any longer. And it’s up to Phyllis to deny that he heard what he thinks he heard. Or that Phyllis meant what he knows she meant. Meanwhile, Diane hovers on the periphery, reminding Jack that she might be a homicidal liar. But Phyllis is the one who is truly nuts.
Y&R Spoilers: Keep Your Distance
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) has never trusted Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) around Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). But, in the past, Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) sister has at least pretended her interactions with the doc-turned-mogul were innocent. She’s over that now. Imani is now blatantly flirting with Nate, whether his live-in girlfriend is standing right there or not. And Elena isn’t having it.
She may be nice, and she may be soft-spoken, and she may have taken an oath to do no harm. But she’s also lived a rougher life than spoiled princess Imani can imagine. And she’s come to play.
