The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, July 7, 2022, are a rehash of old news as Victor Newman reminds Adam Newman that he is his least beloved child, Nikki Newman tells Nick Newman that he can never escape his destiny, and Chloe Mitchell Fisher and Chelsea Lawson pick up where they left off.
Victor’s (Eric Braeden) daughter told him she wanted nothing to do with him or any other member of her family and took off for New York with a man Victor hates. So Victor named Adam (Mark Grossman) the head of the family company. A minute later, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) came back. All is forgiven, here is the company to run again, my sweetheart. Adam? Move. You’re in your sister’s way.
Oh, you think that’s unfair, do you? You think you were used, do you? You think you deserve some respect? Is that it? Are you done making demands? Now let me tell you how it’s going to be from now on: I’m going to dish it out, and you’re going to take it. And if you’re not happy with that, feel free to leave. As long as you don’t mind me calling you a disloyal ingrate for the rest of your life. You got that?
Now that Victoria is back, she wants Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) to join her. They can run the world together — and make sure Adam doesn’t get so much as a crumb of the money they’ve worked so hard for by, you know, being born. So what if he quit in a self-righteous huff a few years ago? So did she. You know that doesn’t count when you’re one of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) children!
When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) wanted to take a new job, she expected nothing by unconditional support from Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). But now that Chloe is the one with an amazing offer on the table, Chelsea can’t believe her friend would even entertain such a thing!
