Y&R Spoilers For July 28: Summer Questions Her Mother’s Motives

The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, July 28, 2022, continues with the Newmans putting themselves first, as Nicholas Newman is forced to tell his father that Chance Chancellor doesn’t seem to realize his loyalty should be to his wife’s family, not to his badge, and Victor Newman is forced to come up with a Plan B, while Summer Newman Abbott questions her mother’s new burst of family togetherness?

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) glowered approvingly when he learned that instead of calling 911 to help Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) reached out to their brother-in-law, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), to make sure the murder stayed in the family.

You don’t want the authorities getting mixed up in such personal matters! Alas, Chance refused to hand over police information to a civilian. Bastard! And now Nick has to tell his family he failed in persuading Chance to do just that.

Young & Restless Spoilers: Still In Charge

All Chance would tell Nick is that they found a car with a body in it at the bottom of the river. But Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) somehow already knew it was Ashland’s body. The question is, did Victor’s people put it there?

And, if they did, how far will he go to cover that fact up? We’re sure he’ll find someone else to blame in that case. Hey, does Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) want to prove what a good team player he is…again?

Y&R Spoilers: Mother, May I?

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) decided she’ll take a job working for her daughter, the same way Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) took a job working for her son. Then they’ll be one big, happy family…and Phyllis will be able to catch Diane doing something terrible — maybe stealing office supplies or taking an extra lump of sugar for her coffee — and bring her down! Yeah…Summer (Allison Lenier) isn’t buying it either.
