The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, January 5, 2023, tease more sibling fighting, exes revealing more about themselves, and a son discovering a secret. This is a drama-filled episode you won’t want to miss.
Another day, another Abbott sibling fight. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) haven’t gotten along well in quite a long time. This round of their fighting is, in part, due to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Ashley’s made no bones about her feelings for the woman, and she even went to great lengths to try to run Diane out of town.
Of course, now Jack and Diane have kissed, which means their relationship is deepening, which is certain to infuriate Ashley. That’s why it’s not at all surprising that Diane causes friction between Jack and Ashley.
Although Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) promised to give things with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) another try, she is still enjoying rekindling her friendship with ex-husband Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei). In this iteration of these two meeting up, Daniel opens up to Lily about his past.

Will he finally reveal everything that went wrong in his relationship and life, which led to Lucy choosing to stay away from him too? Or, will Daniel continue to be coy about everything he’s telling people about what happened? The whole story is certainly coming out in drips and drabs.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has had a lot of upheaval in his life lately, and it looks like he and Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) might just make a go of a relationship. She’s not Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) biggest fan, but she’s trying for Devon and Dominic’s sakes.
Even Devon himself has been somewhat suspicious about his dad’s return to Genoa City. He probably isn’t too surprised when he uncovers a secret about Tucker. Will it have to do with business, or is it something else? Perhaps Devon finally realizes the connection between Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and his dad.
