Jack Abbott has chosen sides on The Young and the Restless, and he has come down decisively on the side of Team Diane Jenkins. He’s blasted Phyllis Summers for her role in putting the entire family in danger, he’s offered Jeremy Stark money to protect her, and he’s helped Diane flee town. Is he wrong to be buying what she’s selling?
The Young and the Restless Polling: Right On
Only a last-place 4% are with Jack (Peter Bergman) on this one. Diane (Susan Walters) admitted her misdeeds and was willing to take responsibility for her actions, including laundering money for Jeremy (James Hyde). Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was the one who brought Jeremy to town, the one who kept going after Diane even when Jack told her not to. What choice did Jack have but to cut one ex-wife out of his life… in favor of another?
Y&R: What Comes Next
A more open-minded 12% are taking a wait-and-see approach, standing by to see what Diane does next. If she truly has confessed all and isn’t planning on doing anything else to hurt Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), then you’re willing to agree that Jack is right in welcoming her back to the fold. It’s not like Jack hasn’t done terrible things in his past. Or Phyllis. Or Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Or Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Jack is only treating all the women in his life fairly.

The Young and the Restless: Buy a Clue
You’re being played, Jack, a majority 84% feel confident in proclaiming. Diane manipulated Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) in order to get back into her orbit. She manipulated Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) into getting overly attached to his DiDi. And she convinced Kyle that he needed a Mommy when he’s been doing perfectly fine without one for over a decade. Most importantly, Diane evilly got Jack to turn on Phyllis, a woman who is only looking out for her daughter and loved one. That’s true evil.
