Y&R Spoilers for January 31: Sharon Shares Wise Words With Abby

The Y&R spoilers for Monday, January 31, 2022, end the month with Adam Newman responding to the news that he will now be working under his big sister, and Victor Newman advising Adam that he’d best like it! Meanwhile, as Abby deals with handing her son over to Devon Hamilton – even if it’s literally only for one night – Sharon Rosales reaches into her therapist tool kit with some wise words.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) ignored a call from “Dad” at his own peril. As a result, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) got to smugly break the news that he was working for her now. And, yeah, “Dad” approved it.

The pair don’t even pretend to make nice, and Adam is furious. Victor (Eric Braeden), however, doesn’t care how his younger son feels about the situation. He’ll work for Victoria, and he’ll take input from Victor, and he’ll put on a happy face…and not kill anyone over it (with Adam, you always have to make that last part clear).

The bigger question is, will Victor let Adam in on his plan to drive Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) out of Newman-Locke in order to make it just Newman again. And, in that case, will Victoria be out of favor…and Adam back in again? Or will he let his boy just twist in the wind, until Victor decides it’s time to enlighten him?

Y&R: I’ve Looked At Life From Both Sides Now

Sharon (Sharon Case) has experienced both losing a child – when she learned that her beloved Sully was actually Nicholas Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) Christian, and gaining a child – when Ashley, who’d been raising her due to Adam’s baby-switch, returned Faith to Sharon. So if anyone can talk Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) through her dilemma with Dominic and Devon (Bryton James), it’s Sharon. But did Abby ask for advice?
