The Y&R spoilers for Monday, December 26, 2022, tease tense family relationships and a big surprise. This is one drama-filled episode you don’t want to miss!
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) let her mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), have it over how she plotted to run Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out of Genoa City. Summer even fired her mom during the holidays over the whole thing. Phyllis wasn’t pleased, and she reminded her daughter…repeatedly…that everything was Diane’s fault in the first place.
While Summer absolutely wasn’t letting her mom off the hook, it doesn’t seem like she’ll let her mother-in-law entirely off the hook either. Summer puts Diane on notice, which likely won’t be received too well, but surely Diane isn’t willing to challenge Summer just yet. Yes, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is absolutely committed to a relationship with his mom, but it’s still clear that he values his marriage to Summer the most. Will Summer’s attitude throw a wrench into Diane’s plans?
Young & Restless Spoilers: Surprise!
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has pulled out all the stops to woo Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Ashley is pretty smart, though, and she doesn’t seem to be falling for all his charm…or is she? It is odd that she’s continuing to see him, but she senses that he’s up to something.
Which is why it’s a bit surprising that Tucker manages to surprise Ashley. What could he do that leaves her speechless? Could it be bigger than the special picnic he recently planned? And, more importantly, is this surprise a good one — or a bad one?
Y&R Spoilers: Family Matters
It’s no secret at all that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) isn’t interested in having any type of relationship with his cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). After Nate betrayed Chancellor-Winters, Devon is absolutely through with him.
Nate has attempted more than once to forage a new connection with his angry cousin, but Devon wasn’t having it at all. Will Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) have any more success when she tries to repair Devon and Nate’s relationship? It seems unlikely, but Y&R does have a history of Christmas miracles.
