The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, August 19, 2021, look past Victor Newman happily welcoming Ashland Locke to the family to find him digging into his future son-in-law’s secrets, while Nick keeps a secret, and Tessa had bad news for Sharon.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he was absolutely delighted that she was marrying Ashland (Richard Burgi), a man just like dear, old dad. He did question Ashland about ulterior motives but pretended to believe it when Ashland said he only loved Victoria, nothing else.
Trust but verify, as another mogul with an accent, Mikhail Gorbachev said. And Victor is throwing all his resources at figuring out if Ashland is really dying…or is this just a long con to get his hands on Newman Enterprises. After all, Victor has a hard time believing a man as cool as Ashland would be in love with Victor’s daughter. But using her to get to him, that Victor has no trouble believing.
Y&R: I Know Something You Don’t Know
Y&R spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been supporting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as she works through her grief at their daughter refusing to return to Genoa City now that Mommy has cleared a path for her.
But while he understands her sadness, he isn’t letting it engulf him as it has her. Nick has a new plan and even a surprise. But will it be enough to bring Phyllis back down to Earth?
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Past Tense
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) has been pushing Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to look for a missing Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). But, in the end, it’s Tessa who gets a clue, which she brings straight to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) – so they can freak out together over what it means.
