The Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 1, 2022, launch into a new month with Phyllis Summers reminding Jack Abbott that Diane Jenkins is no less evil in August than she was in July, while Nate Hastings and Devon Hamilton continue to butt heads professionally, and Mariah Copeland keeps playing cheerleader for ailing wife Tessa Porter.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was so moved by how Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was able to talk to Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) about the loss of his father, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), that he told the tot his Didi wasn’t just a friend, she was his grandma. “Uh-ha.”

Harrison nodded, having no clue what any of this meant. (Diane also called Summer Newman Locke Harrison’s Mommy, so odds are the poor kid is just perennially confused.) Jack (Peter Bergman), looked less than pleased by the revelation. Which, naturally, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) used as just another reminder that his ex was evil and should be ridden out of town on a rail as soon as possible.
Young & Restless: Power Struggle
A month ago, Nate (Sean Dominic) was a doctor. Now he’s an executive. Devon (Bryton James) has been an executive for longer. Nate doesn’t care. He’s calling the shots now and doesn’t want Devon contradicting him. Oh, yeah? Well, Devon doesn’t want Nate contradicting him — how do you like them apples? Maybe Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), whose idea this was in the first place, should be clearer with her employee chart about who is responsible for what.
Y&R Spoilers: You and Me Against the World
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is having surgery on her nodes. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is worried but supportive. She will hold her hand and make her smoothies and tell her she’ll surely be able to sing again, no problems. We’ll send a ‘Get Well’ card.
