The Y&R spoilers for Monday, April 4, 2022, could be the beginning of the end for Sharon Rosales and Rey Rosales’s marriage…not to mention the end of Rey. Plus, Ashland Locke sticks to the plan, and Elena Dawson is upset Nate Hastings won’t stick to hers.
Sharon (Sharon Case) seems to have time to run the coffee house, practice living room therapy, cheerlead Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) wedding, and stick her nose into grown son Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) love life. But time to spend with her husband, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso)…nope, too busy, very busy.
Is it any wonder then that Rey is spending his precious free time with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)? Sure, they mostly talk about the wonder that is Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). But these things have a way of getting…more intimate.
You got to hand it to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). No matter how many Newmans stomp over to make frowny faces at him, the Locke Ness Monster is holding his ground. Even when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) thinks he deserves a seat at the table to pontificate about how Ashland has hurt Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Ashland refuses to back down. We know Victoria is likely playing her husband, but, if she were to ultimately side with him, we kind of get it: Who else has ever gone up against her family for her — and didn’t back down once the going got tough?
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) wanted Nate (Sean Dominic) to work for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) over Ashland, and Nate has chosen to do just that. So we can’t imagine which of his decisions she’s scheduled to have an issue with next week. They’re not going to spend an entire episode talking about lamps again…are they?
